Tax Free Childcare

Tax Free Childcare is a new online Government service which will be available to around 2 million households to help with the cost of childcare, enabling more parents to go out to work, if they want to, to provide greater security for their families.  For every £8 a parent pays into their Childcare Account, the Government will add an extra £2 to their Childcare Account.  Parents can then use that money to pay their Childcare provider.

For those families whose children receive 2 or 3 year old funding and choose to 'buy-in' extra hours, the following charges will be made:

2 year olds - £4.90 per hour

3 and 4 year olds - £4.50 per hour

For those children solely in receipt of the Early Education Funding Entitlement there is an 'opt-out' 'Additional Service Charge' to cover the cost of items for your child i.e. snacks, sun cream, toilet accessories etc.  This will be 35p if you are choosing a full/short day option and 20p if choosing a half day option.  It is important that you let us know if you wish to 'opt-out'.

If your child is still in nappies and accessing the pre-school room, and in addition to the above, we are able to supply nappies.  This would be at a cost of £1.10 for a full/short day option or 55p for a half day option.  If you would like this package then please let us know.

Late Fees -  this will be £10.00 per each 15 minutes of lateness to cover the cost of staffing.

Payment of Fees - fees for all rooms are to be paid monthly, and in advance.  Fees are payable even if your child is away with illness or absent for other reasons, as the place is booked for them and staff costs remain the same. Where this causes serious difficulty, we are willing to make alternative individual arrangements, but would need as much notice as possible to support this process.

Change of hours - if you wish to change your hours, we require one month's written notice outlining the changes you wish to make.  This is to enable us to fill your child's space from our waiting list.  Once the one month notice period is up, your invoice will be amended accordingly.  Please remember the space/s will be filled ASAP and if you would like it back you will be put on the waiting list.

Childcare Tax Credit and Childcare vouchers can be claimed for Nursery and Preschool Fees.
